    Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to digital accessibility for all users

    ❖

    Commitment to Accessibility

MATonics Global Ventures GmbH is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards.

    Standards Compliance

    • Target standard: WCAG 2.1 Level AA, additionally checked against the Level AA criteria added in WCAG 2.2.
    • Current status: Partially conformant

Most of the standard is met; the known exceptions are listed under Known Limitations below.

    Accessible Features

    • Semantic HTML structure
    • Keyboard navigation support
    • Screen reader compatibility
    • Responsive design for all devices
    • Multiple language support (EN/DE/UR)
    • Text can be resized up to 200%
    • Clear focus indicators
    • Reduced motion support
    • Skip-to-content link
    • Dynamic language attribute
    • ARIA labels for interactive elements

    Known Limitations

    • Automated testing covers only part of the standard. Criteria that need human judgement, such as reading order, meaningful sequence and the quality of alternative text, have not been formally reviewed.
    • The site has not been tested with a screen reader by a person who uses one.
    • The Urdu text is set in Noto Nastaliq Urdu. Rendering, and therefore line breaking and legibility, depends on the reader’s device and browser.
    • The manuscripts are published as a machine conversion of the author’s own InPage files, repaired and documented. Damaged passages are marked as damaged rather than reconstructed, so some passages are incomplete by design.
    • The site requires JavaScript.

    Assessment

    • Last assessed: 6 September 2026
    • Next review: 6 March 2027
    • Method: Automated testing with axe-core 4.10.2 against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rule sets, run on the home page, the manuscript index, one full manuscript, the Jalsa page and the Urdu home page. Self-assessment by the maintainer. No third-party audit and no testing with assistive technology has been carried out.
