The funeral prayer in absentia

دوسرا جنازہ مکرم فضل الٰہی انوری صاحب ابن مکرم ماسٹر امام علی صاحب کا ہے جو 4؍مارچ 2017ء کو 90 سال کی عمر میں جرمنی میں وفات پا گئے۔ اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَاِنَّا اِلَیْہِ رَاجِعُوْنَ۔

16؍اپریل 1927ء کو یہ بھیرہ میں پیدا ہوئے اور 1946ء میں تعلیم الاسلام کالج قادیان سے ایف۔ ایس۔ سی کا امتحان پاس کیا۔ 1947ء میں اپنے آپ کو وقف کے لئے پیش کیا۔ پھر اس کے بعد انہوں نے بی۔ ایس۔ سی میں داخلہ لیا اور 1950ء میں گورنمنٹ کالج لاہور سے بی۔ ایس۔ سی کی۔ 1951ء میں جامعۃ المبشرین میں داخل ہوئے اور پھر اس کے بعد آپ کی خدمات کا سلسلہ کافی لمبا ہے۔

1956ء میں بطور مبلغ گھانا بھجوایا گیا۔ 1960ء تک آپ وہاں رہے۔ 1960ء سے 1964ء تک جامعہ احمدیہ ربوہ میں استاد رہے۔ 64ء سے 67ء تک مغربی جرمنی کے مبلغ رہے۔ پھر 68ء میں افریقہ میں نائیجیریا بھیجے گئے۔ 1972ء تک وہاں رہے۔ 1972ء میں پھر جرمنی آئے اور 1977ء تک وہاں خدمات انجام دیں۔ 1979ء میں حدیقۃ المبشرین میں بطور سیکرٹری کام کیا۔ ایڈیشنل ناظر اصلاح و ارشاد تعلیم القرآن بھی مقرر ہوئے۔ اور 1982ء میں گیمبیا مبلغ کے طور پر گئے۔ 1983ء تک پھر وہاں رہے۔ پھر بطور مبلغ ان کا نائیجیریا تبادلہ ہو گیا اور 1986ء تک وہاں رہے۔ 1986ء میں پاکستان واپس گئے تو جامعہ احمدیہ میں بطور استاد خدمت کی توفیق پائی اور پھر 1988ء میں آپ کا تقرر وکالت تصنیف میں ہوا۔ 1988ء تک خدمت سلسلہ کی توفیق پائی۔ اس کے بعد آپ کی ریٹائرمنٹ ہوئی۔ اس کے بعد سے آپ جرمنی میں ہی تھے۔

1974ء کے حالات کے بعد آپ نے جرمنی میں احمدیوں کو وہاں منگوانے کا اور امیگریشن دلوانے کا بڑا کام کیا جس کو حضرت خلیفۃ المسیح الثالث رحمہ اللہ نے بڑا سراہا اور وہاں رہنے والے جو بعض پرانے احمدی ہیں انہوں نے مثلاً عرفان خان صاحب نے مجھے لکھا کہ باپ کی طرح انہوں نے ہمیں وہاں رکھا اس وقت جماعت کے مالی حالات بھی ایسے نہیں تھے تو یہاں تک احتیاط کرتے تھے کہ ہم پانی نہ ضائع کریں اور وضو کرتے ہوئے ہمارے پیچھے کھڑے ہو جایا کرتے تھے کہ پانی تو ضائع نہیں کر رہے۔

اس وقت وہاں اکثریت نوجوانوں کی ہی آئی تھی تو ان کو آپ نے باقاعدہ جماعت کے ساتھ منسلک رکھا اور ان کی تربیت بھی کرتے رہے۔ بڑے قناعت پسند تھے۔

اللہ تعالیٰ مرحوم کے درجات بلند فرمائے اور ان کی اولاد کو بھی ان کی نیکیوں کو جاری رکھنے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔ انہوں نے درویشان کی مختلف خصوصیات پہ بعض کتب بھی لکھی ہیں۔

Translation

The second funeral prayer is of Fazal Ilahi Anweri Sahib, son of Master Imam Ali Sahib, who passed away in Germany on 4 March 2017 at the age of 90. Surely to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return.

He was born at Bhera on 16 April 1927 and in 1946 passed the F.Sc. examination at Talim-ul-Islam College, Qadian. In 1947 he presented himself for waqf. After that he enrolled for a B.Sc. and took his B.Sc. from Government College Lahore in 1950. In 1951 he entered Jamia-tul-Mubashireen, and after that his record of service is a long one.

In 1956 he was sent to Ghana as a missionary. He remained there until 1960. From 1960 to 1964 he was a teacher at Jamia Ahmadiyya, Rabwah. From 64 to 67 he was the missionary for West Germany. Then in 68 he was sent to Nigeria in Africa. He remained there until 1972. In 1972 he came to Germany again and served there until 1977. In 1979 he worked as secretary at Hadiqatul Mubashireen. He was also appointed Additional Nazir Islah-o-Irshad Talim-ul-Quran. And in 1982 he went to the Gambia as a missionary. He remained there until 1983. Then he was transferred to Nigeria as a missionary and remained there until 1986. In 1986 he returned to Pakistan and was given the opportunity to serve as a teacher at Jamia Ahmadiyya, and then in 1988 he was appointed to the Wakalat-e-Tasnif. He was given the opportunity to serve the Community until 1988. After that came his retirement. From then on he was in Germany.

After the events of 1974 he did great work in Germany in bringing Ahmadis there and obtaining immigration for them, which Hazrat Khalifatul Masih III (rh) greatly appreciated, and some of the older Ahmadis living there, Irfan Khan Sahib for instance, wrote to me that he kept us there like a father. At that time the financial circumstances of the Community were not such either, so he was careful even to the point that we should not waste water, and while we performed wudu he would stand behind us to see that we were not wasting water.

At that time it was mostly young men who had come there, so he kept them regularly attached to the Community and continued their training as well. He was greatly content with little.

May Allah the Almighty elevate the station of the deceased and grant his children too the ability to continue his good works. He also wrote several books on the various qualities of the darweshan.
