    1927-1951

    Early Years & Education

    Born 16 April 1927, Bhera. Government High School (matric 1944). Roll No. 1 at Talim-ul-Islam College, Qadian (1944). He passed the F.Sc. there in 1946. He offered his life for waqf in 1947. He took his B.Sc. from Talim-ul-Islam College, Lahore, in 1950, and entered Jamia-tul-Mubashireen in 1951.

    1956

    Damascus Arabic Training

    Seven months in Damascus, lodging in the library hall of the Zawiya al-Hasani. No institute: he taught himself from its books, the city library and the American Library, and took a half-day post at the Pakistani embassy to resolve his visa.

      Karachi to Basra is roughly 1,900 km. By air that is a little over two hours.

      • An oil tanker, which stopped along the way for several hours to take on oil
      • A deck ticket, which meant no fixed seat
      • He read two volumes of Sair-e-Ruhani
      • Each evening before sleeping he wrote down what he had seen that day

      The Suez war closed the route and a state of emergency was declared in Syria. Flights reopened at the end of November.

    Ghana

    Sent alone to run the Arabic school at Swedru. The Ghana mission was already established, with its centre at Saltpond under Amir Maulana Nazir Ahmad Mubashir.

    Jamia Rabwah

    Teaching and mentoring period at Jamia Ahmadiyya.

    June 1964, December 1967

    Germany I

    Early German mission work. He served as the missionary for West Germany from 1964 to 1967.

    1968-1972

    Nigeria I, Amir and Missionary In-charge

    Served as Amir and Missionary In-charge. Between 1968 and 1969 he divided the Agbede Circuit into four circuits: Agbede, Benin, Auchi and Agenebode. Overlap with Khalifatul Masih III (rh) West Africa tour; Lagos press conference 16 April 1970. The Nigerian Jamaat's record of central missionaries gives his terms as 1968 to 1972 and 1983 to 1986.

    1972-1977

    Germany II - Amir and Missionary In-charge

    Served as Amir and Missionary In-charge. Chaired first Jalsa Salana Germany (28 December 1975, Hamburg).

    1979

    Hadiqatul Mubashireen and Nazarat Islah-o-Irshad

    He worked as secretary at Hadiqatul Mubashireen, and was also appointed Additional Nazir Islah-o-Irshad Talim-ul-Quran.

    His own manuscripts place these years at Rabwah.

    Germany Residency & Legacy

    In 1988 he was appointed to the Wakalat-e-Tasnif, then retired, and was in Germany from then on. Residence in Obertshausen, Germany (1988-2017). Community growth and publications. Authored "Prophecies about Middle East" for The Review of Religions (18 Oct 1990). Passed away on 4 March 2017 in Langen, Germany.
