Grant Him Long Life and Prosperity, Remove Every Affliction
Original Urdu
اُفق مغرب سے نکل کر سوئے مشرق چل پڑا
نیّر اسلام جس کا نور ہے نور خدا
مرحبا لے اے الٰہی یورپ تجھ نے دیکھا ہی نور
جس کی اک سیمیں جھلک پر ایک عالم مر مٹا
ہو مبارک آج ہم کو عزیزان وطن
تم میں وہ دلبر وہ حق رحمل عمر ہے آج
مصلح موعود رضی اللہ عنہ ہے، اللہ کا محبوب ہے
ہے بشیر الدین وہ محمود ہے مرد خدا
اپنے جسم و روح و جان و دل کو کر دیں سجدہ ریز
جس کی ہر لطف و کرم اس نے پائی ہو شفا
اے خدا لے محسن و دوست و رحیم و مہرباں
سجدۂ شکر اں نعمت مومنوں پر کی بجا
رکھ ملے تو عافیت میں ساری قومیں جب تلک
دے اسے تو عمر و دولت دور کر دے ہر بلا
پا لیں دست سبحانی سے اس کے وہ شفا
دے اسے تو عمر و دولت دور کر دے ہر بلا
English Translation
From the horizon of the West, he set forth towards the East,
The Sun of Islam, whose light is the Light of God.
Welcome, O Lord! Europe has witnessed the Light,
At whose single silvery glimpse, the whole world was captivated.
Rejoice today, O beloved ones of the homeland,
Among you is that Beloved, that embodiment of truth and mercy.
He is the Promised Reformer, the Beloved of Allah,
He is Bashir-ud-Din, that Mahmud, the Man of God.
Let us prostrate our body, soul, spirit and heart,
All who received healing through his grace and kindness.
O God, take this Benefactor, Friend, Merciful and Compassionate One,
In gratitude, the believers rightly prostrate for this blessing.
Keep all nations in wellbeing as long as,
Grant him long life and prosperity, remove every affliction.
