A Talk between a Muslim and a Christian
English, written during his Ghana posting, 1956 to 1960, his first book
Published under the auspices of , . He calls it "this first writing effort of the humble one", so it is his first book. Dr Abdul Hadi Italo Chiussi translated it into German on his own initiative. The German edition, Ein Gespräch zwischen einem Muslim und einem Christen, was published in Frankfurt am Main by Verlag Der Islam, fourteen pages, ISBN 3921458137.
The two catalogues that hold the German edition give different years, 1989 and a queried 1985. They disagree, and neither is preferred here.
Space and Interplanetary Flights on Quran
English, written in Nigeria while and , 1968 to 1972
Written after the first Soviet lunar probe and the American Moon landings. It first appeared in three instalments in a Nigerian national newspaper and was then published as a book under the same title. A German edition, Quran über den Weltraum und Interplanetarische Flüge, was published by the German Mission.

He wrote this article. It sets out Ezekiel’s prophecies of Gog and Magog, Russia’s intervention in the land of Israel and its tragic end, the Quranic prophecies of Gog and Magog, the return of the Holy Land, and the Middle East as the centre of a future world conflict.
Middle East Conflict in the Light of Heavenly Prophecies
Written in 1967
In his own account he wrote this in response to the Gulf of Aqaba crisis and the Six Day War of 1967, and it was translated into German at once as Der Mittelostkonflikt im Lichte himmlischer Prophezeiungen.

Begun 1977, true dreams and visions, several volumes
A book of true dreams and visions granted to members of the Community. In 1977 he wrote to Hazrat Khalifatul Masih III (rh) asking leave to write it; the reply came in ’s hand the next day: "Prepare the manuscript. Then we shall see whether it is printed or not." A notice in the daily brought close to two hundred and fifty dreams from over a hundred men and women.
Volume 3 carries its own title, Hifazat-e-Samawi, "Heavenly Protection", on the miraculous protection of the (as) and his followers. Volume 6 is cited as a source by other Ahmadi writers.
runs to eight volumes. Six were printed. He completed volumes seven and eight, and a third part of volume five, but they never went to press. Published by Nasr Publications and printed at Gutenberg Druckerei GmbH, Weimar. From Volume 3 onward each volume also carries a title of its own.
Volume 1 rests on the revelation given to the Promised Messiah (as), یَنصُرُکَ رِجَالٌ نُوحِی اِلَیْہِم مِنَ السَّمَاءِ, "Men whom We inspire from heaven shall help thee". The eight volumes then gather those people and the signs given to them, in Ghana, Nigeria, Fiji, Tuvalu, the Gambia, Burkina Faso, Germany and Pakistan. He asked Hazrat Khalifatul Masih III (rh) for leave to begin in 1977 and was still completing the work in his eighties. He spent almost forty years documenting the fulfilment of a single revelation, and named the series after the people in it.
- Volume 1, on the fulfilment of the revelation given to the Promised Messiah (as), <span dir="rtl" lang="ur" className="font-nastaliq">یَنصُرُکَ رِجَالٌ نُوحِ ی اِلَیْہِم مِنَ السَّمَاءِ</span>, "Men whom We inspire from heaven shall help thee". He gathered the signs by which people were drawn to the Community across West Africa, Fiji, Canada and beyond. First printing 2005.
- Volume 2, a collection of the signs of learning and understanding appearing among the followers of the Promised Messiah (as), gathered in the light of his prophecy that "the people of my community shall attain such excellence in knowledge and insight that they will silence all by the light of their truth and by their arguments and signs". First printing 2004.
- Volume 3, حفاظت سماویہ (Hifazat-e-Samawiyya), the heavenly protection given to the Promised Messiah (as) and his followers. He set the acquittal in the Martin Clarke case beside deliverances in the Sierra Leone civil war and in the forests of West Africa. Printed 2007.
- Volume 4, نصرت ربانیہ (Nusrat-e-Rabbaniyya), divine succour, the material help and other supports given to members of the Community. He opened it with Hazrat Hakeem Noor-ud-Din (ra) and his years as royal physician in Jammu and Kashmir. Printed 2012.
- Volume 5, Part 1, بشارات سماویہ (Bisharat-e-Samawiyya), the tidings the Promised Messiah (as) himself received from his Lord, in true dreams, visions and revelations. Printed in 2008 in two runs of 2,000.
- Volume 5, Part 2, بشارات سماویہ (Bisharat-e-Samawiyya), the same title continued, now the tidings given to sincere members of the Community. Five chapters. Printed in 2010 in two runs of 500.
- Volume 6, قبولیت دعا کے اعجازی نمونے, miraculous instances of prayer answered, for the Promised Messiah (as) and for his followers. Printed 2013.
- Volume 7, غیرت الٰہی کے عبرتناک نمونے, written on the revelation اِنِّی مُہِینٌ مَنْ اَرَادَ اِہَانَتَکَ, "I shall humiliate him who seeks to humiliate thee", and what befell those who set themselves against the Community. Completed, never printed.
- Volume 8, تصرفات الٰہیہ (Tasarrufat-e-Ilahiyya), the supports that came through God’s own intervention in the order of things. Completed, never printed.
Urdu translation of Das Haus in Mekka
With a foreword by Hazrat Chaudhry Muhammad Zafarullah Khan
The German travelogue of Dr Abdul Hadi Italo Chiussi on Mecca, Medina, and Rabwah. He translated it into Urdu during Dr Chiussi’s lifetime, and it was published after his own return to Pakistan. He sent the manuscript to Hazrat Chaudhry Muhammad Zafarullah Khan in London and asked for a foreword. Zafarullah Khan wrote one, saying of him that "by translating this book into Urdu, he has done a great favour to the Urdu-reading class." Zafarullah Khan was President of the United Nations General Assembly and President of the International Court of Justice.

He dedicated it to two grandsons, his daughter’s son Mubashir Ahmad Tariq and his son’s son Ata-un-Nasr Anweri, اپنے نواسے عزیزی مبشر احمد طارق اور اپنے پوتے عزیزی عطاء النصر انوری کے نام, and wrote that teaching the two of them Urdu led him to prepare the lessons and then to cast them into a book so that others could benefit.

Foreword by Alhaj Chaudhry Muhammad Zafarullah Khan
The Urdu edition opened with a foreword by Alhaj Chaudhry Muhammad Zafarullah Khan, named on the title page as former President of the International Court of Justice. He was also Pakistan’s first Foreign Minister and President of the United Nations General Assembly. He signed the foreword at Lahore on 8 December 1980.

A letter from Mirza Tahir Ahmad, 14 January 1982
The book also carries a letter written to him by Mirza Tahir Ahmad, later Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (rh), before his , dated 14 January 1982 and addressed to him personally. He wrote that he intended to buy several copies to give to friends, and asked him to write a fresh article on Dr Chiussi for the magazine, to appear with his photograph and selected passages from the book.
“By casting the author’s account into Urdu, you have rendered a great service not only to Urdu readers but to the Urdu language itself.”
His own note follows the letter. He had sent the book to Hazrat while he was still Nazim -e-Jadid and President of Majlis Ansarullah Pakistan, and he complied with the instruction: he wrote the article and sent it to the Ansarullah magazine, where it duly appeared. He gives the year only as “probably 1981” and is not certain of the issue, which sits oddly beside the January 1982 date of the letter. The uncertainty is his and is left as he left it.

A second foreword was written by Masood Ahmad Jhelmi, former Missionary In-charge, West Germany.
His translator’s introduction
His own translator’s introduction describes the book and notes that Chiussi visited Qadian and Rabwah and wrote about both, and that in the Qadian section Chiussi recorded a spiritual vision.
The author
Abdul Hadi Italo Chiussi was an Italian from Trieste with a doctorate in mathematics from Pisa, working in Germany as a director of the Italian insurance company Generali. He came into contact with the Community at the Nur Mosque in Frankfurt, met Hazrat Khalifatul Masih III (rh) in 1967, accepted Islam, and translated the Holy Quran into Esperanto as La Nobla Korano. Maulana Fazal Ilahi Anweri was Imam of the Nur Mosque in Frankfurt.

That title echoes the subtitle of volume 7 of -e-Ahmadiyyat, غیرت الٰہی کے عبرتناک نمونے, the volume he completed and which was never printed. Both facts stand; how the two are related is not recorded.

During his second term as Amir and Missionary In-charge in Germany he arranged the publication of a numbered list of books. He did not write these; he had them printed.
